Odd Echo is run by [YOUR NAME], [YOUR CITY], Sweden. Contact: [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].
What we store
- If you play without signing in: no account and no personal data. Your volume setting stays in your browser. We count answers per round without linking them to you.
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account ID and email address, the leaderboard name you choose, your scores, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. Your real name and photo are not stored.
- If you buy: an order number, amount, currency and status. Your card details never reach us; they are handled by our payment partner, Stripe.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use this data to run your account and deliver what you bought (contract), and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest). We also keep order records because accounting law requires it.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts the site and database.
- Google handles sign-in. Google Fonts delivers the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when you open the site.
- Stripe handles payment as the seller of record, under its own privacy policy. Your card statement and receipts may show Link, Stripe's consumer brand.
How long
Account data stays until you delete your account. Sessions expire after 30 days. Order records are kept for as long as accounting law requires, [X] years.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself in the account panel. You may also ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or erase it, and you may complain to the Swedish data protection authority, IMY.
